From May 25th until the 28th, we are going to exhibit at Brascrs 2022, which will take place at Salvador Convention Center in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. 

The XIX International Congress of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, XIII International Congress of Administration in Ophthalmology will offer its participants more than 200 challenging activities, the possibility of listening to international speakers and, of course, the opportunity to see the products exposed at the exhibition.

Since Adaptica has recently registered  our product portfolio in the Brazilian Market, it will be a great occasion to present our outstanding technologies 2WIN and 2WIN-S Kaleidos and meet potential  partners, distributors and Ophtalmologists.

Also this year, our products will be present at “Progetto AMGO” National Convention in Naples on May 13th and 14th with our Italian distributors.
 
 
AMGO is a project for visual prevention of Amblyopia coordinated at national level by the Institute of the Blind “Francesco Cavazza ONLUS” in Bologna and aimed at children and toddlers.
 
 
Amblyopia, is a reduced development of visual function in one or both eyes due to a visual defect as the visual system develops and matures in the first years of life. If not treated promptly, this condition can result in a permanent defect. As it can only be cured at an early age, the diagnosis and early treamentent of this desease is essential.
 
The title of this year’s National Convention is “Artificial intelligenceand digital technologies at the service of visual prevention and visual rehabilitation”
 
We are more than proud to keep supporting this important project with our instruments, that have been specifically designed with the aim of preventing such a desease in the early childhood.

Screenings Campaign 2021. Festival Del Sorriso Padova

On Sunday the 27 th of June 2021, we participated at the event “Happy Kids – Festival del Sorriso” at MUSME, Padova. We screened more than 300 people among kids and adults. 20% of the kids had sight problems (mostly myopia and astigmatism) and their parents ignored that. For this reason, the event was a great chance for Adaptica to raise awareness about how important our sight is and how important prevention and annual check-ups are. It is fundamental for the kids to have their eyes checked at 6 months, at 3 years old, before starting school and after that, once a year. As well as for kids, it is also important for adults to do annual visits to prevent eye diseases and sight problems.
Early detection and timely treatment for eye conditions is extremely important and specially, if treated in time, cost-effective. Vision screenings and eye exams can help detect eye diseases while they are still treatable, ultimately stopping or avoiding vision loss.
We want to remember that, according to IAPB (International agency for the Prevention of Blindness) 90% of vision loss is preventable.
Screenings and annual check-ups are fundamental to preserve our sight.

With 52.000 attendees and more than 1200 exhibitors from all over the world, the next trade event that will take place in Milan, is the best chance to see all our devices and get to know our new proposals. The main one this year is about the placement of KALEIDOS also into the optical stores.

Academy 2020 – 2nd edition

The second edition of Adaptica’s Academy took place last week on January 22nd until the 24th in Padua.

We’re very grateful to all the Distributors participating in the meeting and bringing their outcomes of one year working together. Compared to the first edition, the number of participants more than doubled! We also had some special guests who brought their direct experience with our instruments. We deeply thank them for their useful references.

The Academy is becoming a key appointment that contributes to share with our Distributors the strategic guidelines for the new year, update them about new product evolutions and get their precious feedback from the market.

It was very helpful to analyse with them the results of the last marketing plan, as well as to get feedback and insights in order to improve strategies and tools.

After Mr.  Wei’s greetings, our Sales & Marketing Manager Davide Maddalozzo presented Adpatica’s 2020 vision, according to the last market study, and defined the market segments for each product of ours:

2WIN, Kaleidos, VisionFit SC, Refraction System, Aquid, Aquid Chart, CR-App, Keratoconus, EMR, Tablet, O&O, Injectors and CTR.

We are conscious that excellence in innovation and technology needs to be supported by a sound marketing strategy. As promised the previous Academy meeting 2019, the first phase of the creation of the brand building and communication infrastructure was successfully completed. Various communication tools have been created and made available to our Distributors around the world.

As an Arabic saying goes: “What is coming is better than what is gone.”

Together with our Distributors and partners around the world we can build a better world for everyone, everywhere.
